Elvis Memorabilia
One of our listeners, Ralph in Akron, e-mailed us images of a couple of Elvis memorabilia he'd like to share with Jukebox listeners. Thanks, Ralph!
- A letter from Graceland, dated September 11, 1966, answering an inquiry about an Elvis photo, which the letter identifies as a publicity shot from the 1960 film, "Flaming Star." The photo is included.
- A show bill from an Elvis three-movie marathon at Akron's Gala Drive-in from April 1966. The flicks were Follow That Dream ('62), Kid Galahad ('62), and Wild in the Country ('61). The drive-in, formerly located on Waterloo Road/Route 224, was closed in 1997, torn down, and replaced by a housing development.
And this bit of magic, which came our way via a "Dr. Dan" e-mail later in the week. Next time you're feeling nervous, try carving a pencil, rather than chewing it.

No phones? E-mail the DJs!
As you've probably heard, our current use of voice-tracked DJs makes it near impossible to get the SOJ on the phone. To touch base with DJs and other staff, don't hesitate to e-mail us directly. Available addresses can be found on the Personalities page.
Keep in mind it might take a few days to get a reply, so don't, for example, e-mail a request to the All Request Show and expect to hear it that evening. Otherwise, we'd like to hear from you.

Your sticker is!
Time to make sure you have a Jukebox static sticker planted in a conspicuously visible and safe place on a side or rear window. Then cruise to an announced sticker spotting location and see what's up.
